TERRY HOLMES
President
Terry Holmes was born in Pennsylvania and raised in Rochester, New York. In 1978, he and a few buddies moved to Dallas to discover what the building boom in Texas was all about. He never left.
Terry began his construction career as a roofer and framer. He framed and roofed hundreds of houses around the DFW Metroplex. That's how he met Dean Trudell, his long time friend and building associate. In 1983, Terry tried his hand at building a house. What started as a humble idea has turned into a successful career almost three decades later.
An artist at heart, Terry has been creating things with his hands since high school. His father was a carpenter by trade, which taught Terry the finer points of wood work and construction. Today, Terry uses his God-given creativity coupled with all he has learned from his father and his experience to craft luxury homes.
Each Holmes Builders home benefits personally from Terry's creativity. He is very involved in the design of each home, both inside and out. Terry's passion is in the details of design. He loves creating unique, well-thought architectural details -- details that exude character, class and an element of flair.
Throughout the years Terry has added residential development and commercial construction to his resume. Terry first began developing land in the late 90s. Since then, he has developed The Landing at Northshore (Flower Mound), Latera (Frisco), St. Andrews Estates (Coppell), and now Red Hawk (Coppell). Terry is already working on his next residential community.
In 2006, Terry began a commercial development and construction company named Crestone Realty. Crestone Realty specializes in developing upscale Class A properties for medical, office and retail tenants. You can find buildings by Crestone Realty in Carrollton, Frisco, and Coppell.
Behind every great man is a great woman. Terry's and his high school sweetheart, Michelle, have four children and seven grandchildren. Terry also has a German shepherd named Hogan, who you might see guarding job sites. Terry and his wife reside in Coppell.
